Facebook is a huge driver of mobile social networking up 121% over the previous year. The number of US users accessing the social networking site via mobile reached roughly 44 million as of December, YouTube and Twitter held the second and third position in the US, growing 74% and 71%, respectively, whereas the number of users accessing MySpace via mobile fell 20% in the US.

By listening and proactively responding on the social web, says the report, retailers have a chance to turn disgruntled customers into social advocates. The survey found that, of those who received a reply in response to their negative review:
- 33% turned around and posted a positive review
- 34% deleted their original negative review

The 6.2 million American adults over the age of 65 who are employed fulltime or part-time are financially sound, philanthropic, enjoy the arts. and have robust investment portfolios. These "Retired for Hire" consumers are slightly more likely than the average adult to have an annual household income of $150K+ and are 51% more likely to live in a home valued at $500K or more.
