Sharon Goldmacher has 25 years of experience in marketing PR and interactive strategies and execution. She has worked with clients spanning a variety of industries from consumer products to real estate, sports, technology, food and beverage and more.

Sharon founded communications 21 (or c21) in 1992 as a full-service marketing PR and design firm, and has expanded services to include interactive and environmental marketing to meet client needs.

Sharon is currently a board member on the executive committee of the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau, Leadership Buckhead and the American Marketing Association, and recently served on the Green Chamber of the South board. In addition to running c21, she also is the executive director of the Atlanta Local Organizing Committee responsible for the operations and execution of the 2013 NCAA® Men’s Final Four®. Next year, the tournament will be celebrating 75 years of March Madness.

Goldmacher regularly blogs on c21’s The C-Word, and speaks at conferences across the country on branding, interactive and green marketing, and social media for groups and universities, including EDPA, PRSA and NewComm – a national conference on social media as well as Emory University and Georgia State.

She graduated cum laude from Newcomb College/Tulane University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and communications, and worked at the NBC affiliate in New Orleans, Louisiana. She worked at two marketing PR agencies in Atlanta before founding communications 21.
