Cindy Bowden is director of Atlanta's Robert C. Williams Paper Museum, which houses the world's largest collection of paper and papermaking artifacts. In addition, she is president of The Georgia Association of Museums and Galleries (GAMG), a state-wide organization of large and small cultural institutions. Cindy Bowden currently serves as president of the Georgia Association of Museums and Galleries (GAMG). This is a statewide organization dedicated to serving a diverse membership in a way that establishes a responsive network, provides a resource base and promotes professionalism so that Georgia's museum community is strong, effective and proactive. The organization works to stimulate public interest, support and understanding of museums and non-profit galleries of all disciplines. Members foster relationships among themselves in order to exchange information and develop cooperative programs and events. Through workshops, classes, seminars and an annual conference, GAMG encourages growth and improved professional practices of its member museums and galleries. There is an semi-annual fee for inclusion in this section. You will be asked to provide a brief description of your expertise, a biography, a photo in electronic format such as JPEG or TIFF, contact information, and any relevant media experience you have had such as past interviews or media training. Media training is also available through the Daybook Network.
