Deborah Roebuck became Executive Director of the Siegel Institute for Leadership, Ethics & Character in January, 2006. The Institute was appointed as an academic unit of Kennesaw State University in 2007. The Siegel Institute now delivers graduate level courses in Leadership and Ethics, offering the only program of its kind at the master's level in the southeastern United States.

She has spearheaded the new non-degree Ethical Leadership Certificate Program, which she and her faculty customize to meet the needs of businesses. As an active consultant, teacher, and speaker to business, civic, and academic groups, she engages people of all walks of life in initiatives of building ethical leaders from the inside out around the world.

She has authored four books and published over 25 articles. Deborah received her Ph.D. in Business Education from Georgia State University, and holds a lifetime teaching certification from the states of Missouri and Iowa. Prior to joining The Siegel Institute, she served as chair of the Department of Leadership and Professional Development and Director of the Executive MBA Program in the Coles College of Business at KSU.

Deborah is the recipient of numerous recognitions including the 2007 Writer of the Year Award from the National League of American Pen Women, and Outstanding Teaching Award from the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University as a professor of organizational behavior, communication, leadership, and management.
