Isakson addresses the many facts of meeting seniors’ needs from the perspective of professional developer of senior communities, a volunteer in senior issues and personal experience. He can speak on senior health and wellness issues, the use of technology in senior communities and numerous topics related to seniors.

Founder and Partner of Isakson-Barnhart, Andy Isakson has more than 25 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate in Atlanta and throughout the Southeast. Since his mother passed away seven years ago, the victim of Alzheimer’s disease, he has taken a leadership role in the development of senior residential communities in Georgia.

Considered a leader in the field, Mr. Isakson was tapped to speak at the National Association of Home Builders’ Seniors Housing Symposium 2005 on the use of technology in senior communities. He currently serves as chairman of the Advisory Board for the Center for Health in Aging at Emory University.

A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Mr. Isakson spent eight years in the commercial real estate brokerage business at Northside Realty and Associates where he received the Atlanta Board of Real Estate’s highest commercial real estate award, the Alvin B. Cates award. Mr. Isakson is also the co-founder of Kid’s Health, Inc., a Georgia-based not-for-profit that provides a health awareness curriculum for Georgia school children.
