Four-Day Event to be held October 4-7

social-print

Imagine being guided by a 3D visual of Interstate 285 traffic and weather conditions on your way to work. Imagine walking into any restaurant in Atlanta and being offered a customized menu that tells you what you should eat. These and many more innovations are in the works at Georgia Tech. Together with its partners, Georgia Tech is shaping the future of how we will work, live, play, and learn.

FutureMedia at Georgia Tech is transforming the way content and information is created, distributed and consumed. FutureMedia is a global open innovation collaborative initiative focused on discovering, creating, commercializing, and shaping the future of media. With more than 19 centers, 37 living labs and nearly 500 faculty working in this space, Georgia Tech is a leader in discovering what is next.

Be inspired and challenged at FutureMedia Fest 2010, a four-day immersive event held October 4-7. Explore new possibilities through an interactive mash-up of talent, ideas, trends and technology. Touch, feel and play with the coolest next generation technology, products, and solutions via a startup expo, music mix, gaming lounge and research demos. Hear compelling keynote addresses from Google, Turner, HP, Coca-Cola, Cisco, The Weather Channel, and the Academy Award winning creators of Avatar.

FutureMedia Fest 2010 will bring together executives and investors, innovators and entrepreneurs, academics and researchers. We hope you will be among them. To learn more and register, visit (www.futuremediaglobal.com)

Thanks to our FutureMedia Fest 2010 platinum sponsors HP, Turner Broadcasting Network, and The Coca-Cola Company, without whom this even would not be possible.
