Over the past ten years, the East Point Community Action Team (EP-CAT) has prepared community members to triumph through difficult times by establishing and enhancing community networks around youth leadership development, prevention education, homelessness and protecting children.

Through the Warm Chatter Café, we offer another exciting platform to educate residents, sponsors, friends, partners and stakeholders about critical community issues. During Warm Chatter events, active leaders will lend insights on health and wellness, relationships and finance. These activities are designed to energize community spirit and promote healthier lifestyles. In doing so, we hope to deepen the relationships necessary for long term community change and empowerment.

“Singles in the City Bachelor Auction”, the next Warm Chatter event is a fundraiser to support and promote EP-CAT’s building better communities through partnership development efforts. The event will feature local community heroes; firemen, city councilmen, engineers, police officers, professors, professionals, etc. Our target audience of urban professional females will bid on these heroes. The winning bidder will enjoy an outing to one of Atlanta’s favorite restaurants, visit the world’s largest aquarium, and/or catch a great movie, etc. with their bachelor.
